Moving out in 3 days

Whoa what a month we have had! Probably the craziest of my life… and that’s saying a lot!

Heres a quick break down of our craziness. We flew to Florida to meet and move onto our new boat. The very day we left our home in California went under contract. (how is that for timing?!?) We had a complete whirlwind during the 10 day contingency period trying to organize our boat and then when it became really real that we were actually going to sell our beautiful home the timeline got moved up. Matthew said to me in Florida on the boat on a Monday night “Babe we are going to close on Friday!” What!?!?! I booked tickets back to San Diego right then. That was Monday night - flew back Tuesday night - Wednesday morning the packers came and worked for the next few days and then Friday afternoon the new owners moved in. If that doesn’t sound crazy… well you probably didn’t realize how big our house was. Basically picture me just throwing stuff in boxes as fast as I could for three days straight. It was honestly one of the wildest weeks of my life. We stayed in SoCal for a few more days seeing friends, finish up the last minute details and then we said our Official Goodbye to California.

My first attempt at a Youtube video is here and hopefully the future ones won’t be quite as emotional but this was how our week went down. (Also my current goal is to get a whopping 10 subscribers so if you feel like following our YouTube you’d make me look cooler to my kids if you click “subscribe” and I have no idea where that button is because as everyone in the family keeps telling me I have a lot to learn on YouTube but hopefully you can find it) Moving week was lots and lots of tears and hugs and memories and some hilarious moments - did I mention the moving truck hit our gates pillar on the way out?! Yes check it out on the video! In the end it was very sad to say goodbye to a place we loved so much and leave friends who mean the world to us but now the next chapter truly begins.

With the surprise trip back to SoCal we had to change the dates of our big training. Yes you know sailing around the Caribbean will be easier once we actually know “How” to sail. Details details right?! So the fist 10 days of December we will be doing an intense sailing course on our own boat. For November you will find us here in South Florida having all types of adventures and spending time with some amazing friends. More updates on that to come…

Sending all our love,

The Fantasy Family

P.S. Exumas we are coming for you!
