Christmas Curveball

Merry Christmas! We have had an eventful December. The month started with 10 days of sailing training - Video on that coming soon. Next we returned to Fort Lauderdale for some work on the boat… new propellers, transducer aka a fish finder, underwater lights!!! And then we wrapped the boat. (wait for those pictures!) Then we did our first huge “Provisioning” for our inaugural trip to the Bahamas…to say our boat is stocked up is an understatement. We did our countdown to the Bahamas day by day, checklist by checklist. Just a day before setting sail went to the local place to get our covid tests for entry into the Bahamas and then we continued to pack. I thought I was just exhausted from all the “provisioning”. Then we got the news - No Bahamas Christmas for us. Instead its a boat quarantine Covid Christmas for us. Good news is at least we are provisioned! Sometimes life throws you a curve ball and you just get to roll with it.
