Ever since I was a little girl I felt like my life was an amazing story. Each different part a chapter in a great book of epic adventures and a fairytale love, full of twist and turns, joy and luckily only a tiny bit of heart ache. It has been a beautiful story.
Born and raised as a true Georgia Peach with big dreams, I met the love of my life when I was 17. We married at a vineyard on a sunny afternoon in north Georgia and then moved to pursue our California dreams as newlyweds in San Diego. We welcomed our daughter Atalaya in 2010 and began a new chapter = parenting. By the end of 2011 Camden joined our world. Next Savella came out happy as could be and just after she was born we bought our new home and began remodeling. We moved in 2014 just before Valiant arrived and made our family complete.
4 kids in 5 years our home was full of love and laughter and lots of diapers. Married to my ultimate superhero we navigated life together and he gave me more than I could ask for. Our kids early years were spent exploring the world and California, beaches and zoo trips, tons of legos (oh my feet) and endless cuddles. In California we made lifelong friends who spent time with us swimming, eating, laughing and sharing life.
Our California dreams came true. We feel so eternally blessed for the time we spent in the golden state. But now it is time for a new chapter. This coming year we are moving to Puerto Rico 🇵🇷 Currently our SoCal house is for sale, we are building in PR and we are busy making preparations for our next adventure- moving onto Pegasus, our new floating home.
One of my favorite songs is called I Lived by One Republic. There is a line in it that says: “I owned every second that this world could give”. As we head into this new chapter I believe we are doing just that. We have huge dreams for the adventures that are about to unfold.
To our friends in California we will miss you but know we will be back to visit. And to all of our friends in different parts of the world please pray for our family during this transition and know that you will always have a warm and welcoming place to stay on the Island of Enchantment.
